Rita.  The Bonnet and the Blanket were both hand made.

For those of you who may
not know - George has been
"learning to play" the guitar.  
And has taken it up quite
successfully.

When we found out that we
were expecting - he decided
to purchase the baby - a
guitar.

Taylor makes the perfect
guitar for our little
"Gillibean" - the Taylor Baby.

Heirloom Handkerchief -

I am just a little handkerchief
Quite square as you can see,
But with a stitch or two
Memere made a small hat for me.
I'll be worn for special occasions,
Or maybe on dedication day,
Then neatly pressed and folded
I'll be carefully put away.

And then in the future
When the bride needs something old
To bring good luck, health and hapiness,
Or so I have been told.
Then What could be more special
than to unpack little me,
and snip a stich or two,
then a handkerchief I will be.
And This precious little girl
On the day that she is wed
can carry this little handkerchief
that was worn on her little head!
